Fitness is a Lifestyle

Royal Pride provides its members with high intensity functional fitness. We incorporate Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, and cardio/respiratory workouts into our everyday strength and conditioning program. It is universally scaleable (can be modified) so it is appropriate for all levels and ages.

We provide 2 to 4 foundations class as part of the membership. These are mandatory for all new athletes, as they provide instruction and education of movements to prevent injuries.

We pride ourselves on being a tight knit community that is ever growing. We cannot wait for you to join us and help you reach your fitness goals!

We are here to keep you fit, healthy, and safe

Co-Owner/Head Coach

I was born and raised in Southwestern Michigan.  While in High School, I ran Track and played Basketball.  After graduating high school, I joined the U.S Navy and developed a passion for physical fitness.  In 2010, I began to help others reach their fitness goals. I became one of the fitness leaders in my Navy unit and I was always running in races, mud runs, or obstacle courses.

I first found CrossFit back in 2014 and I have been in love with it ever since. In 2016 I started coaching CrossFit and It has been an exciting, challenging, and rewarding experience.

My name is Gil Campuzano and I was first introduced to CrossFit in 2012. My entire life I found myself being outdoors and trying different sports. I played competitive soccer for most of my life, but pretty much played every other sport.

In 2012, I went to my first CrossFit class thinking I was in good shape and I was pretty well rounded athlete. It kicked my butt! It was such a humbling experience, I had never felt so defeated and CHALLENGED. I was instantly hooked and trying to find ways to become more fit. In 2015 My brother and I decided to open up our own CrossFit gym. I was so passionate about CrossFit, I loved coaching and helping athletes with their goals. During my time in CrossFit I also fell in love with the sport of Weightlifting. I started to compete and coach at local and National meets.

It’s been 8 years since I started CrossFit and I can truly say it changed my life for the better! My favorite thing about CrossFit is the community it creates. I’ve personally seen the quiet/shy person find their best friends at the gym and become confident and even outgoing. I’ve seen people who have never done anything athletic in their lives, pick up movements they never thought they could. People come to CrossFit and often times end up finding their best friends as well as a lifelong lifestyle of eating well and exercising.

My name is Emmanuel Campuzano and I have been doing CrossFit since 2012. When I first joined CrossFit, my sole intent was to get stronger, more fit, and relish the competitive environment. What has kept me in CrossFit for over seven years, however, is the close-knit community that my local affiliate provides. In my time with this training methodology program, I have had a complete transformation in my physical fitness and on my outlook on life. I truly believe that the physical and mental challenges that CrossFit provides me with, and the meaningful relationships I have built will keep me thriving for many years to come!

I have been a CrossFit Coach since April 2013. Coaching was something that I did not initially think I would do, but I am grateful that I was introduced to the opportunity. Being a people person, and having the ability to connect with others, has made it an extremely rewarding experience for me. I truly believe in the idea that we all learn, respond and grow in different manners. Being conscious of this idea, has always pushed me to take the time to get to know my athletes on a personal level, so that I have a better idea of how to implement strategies that will help my athletes understand the movements and concepts of CrossFit.

At the moment, I have my CrossFit Level-1 Certificate, my CrossFit Level-2 Certificate, and my CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Certificate. I take pride in calling myself a life-long learner. My hope is to continue to educate myself in this evidence-based training methodology program, so that I am better equipped to improve my health, and the health of the members at Royal Pride CrossFit. I CrossFit to be a healthier me, and to be able to express my fitness in performing everyday tasks and challenges!

Hello! My name is Ashley Brimm. I grew up riding horses and competing at a national level. However, after being introduced to CrossFit in 2018, I instantly knew I found my passion. I dove in head first from the beginning, striving to grow as an athlete and a person, while obsessively learning everything I could about the sport. A few months into my CrossFit journey I discovered a passion for helping others achieve their goals as well.  I received my CF-L1 Trainer status in June of 2019 and started coaching a few days later.
If I’m not at the gym coaching, or working out, I’m working on wrapping up my Bachelor’s in Organizational Management through Charleston Southern University and my Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coaching Certification. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs.
Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about CrossFit and the community that Royal Pride has given my husband, Langley and I. I’m an advocate for the CrossFit methodology and have experienced first-hand the results it can give you. I want to help everyone who walks through the doors of Royal Pride CrossFit achieve their fitness, nutrition, and overall deep health goals. I feel so fortunate to be a part of such an incredible community and hope you will consider being a part of it too!

I started CrossFit in the summer of 2018, here at Royal Pride CrossFit after I graduated from UC Santa Cruz. I was a former wrestler in high school and has always been interested in fitness since then. What attracts me most about CrossFit is the wide breadth of skills and movements implemented in the WODs; especially gymnastics. I love how there is always something that you can work on. CrossFit allows me to improve myself on a daily basis, and as a coach, I want to help you in your fitness journey and overall self-improvement. Outside of CrossFit, I am a pre-med student working as a medical scribe in Ventura. When I’m not working out, working, or studying I enjoy playing video games and fiddling around with the guitar.
